I love Northern New Mexico, it’s home and that makes it lovely for me. It’s quirky and not polished and makes me feel REAL. Because it’s real, and a bit messy and a bit odd…but oh so charming. One of our favorite drives from our homebase outside of Espanola, NM is up through Dixon to the town of Penasco, and specifically to the Sugarn Nymph’s Bistro.
Dinner is slamming with Pizzas, an amazing steak, and something for all that your heart may desire, but its BRUNCH on Saturdays and Sundays that makes me happiest. My dad and I went up this winter and had by far, THE BEST eggs I’ve had in a long time and the loveliest scone…with homemade blueberry jam. It was amazing!

FAVORITE THINGS?
It’s attached to an old theater that still shows art flicks from time to time.
There’s an amazing mosaic mural on the wall next door and a mural map of the town on the wall as you enter through the side.
Did I mention the scones?
